"School Manners/School Rules"

1. School manners

  1. Enforcing greetings
    It is important to greet people yourself. Greet students inside the school, at the start and end of classes, and when entering and leaving the teacher's room.
  2. clean appearance
    Practicing personal appearance and behavior as a vocational school student.
  3. no smoking
    Smoking by anyone under the age of 20 and smoking on the streets inside and outside of school is strictly prohibited.
    In addition, smokers should be strongly aware of the issue of passive smoking and their own health management, try to quit smoking, and abide by the rules.
  4. Keep the inside and outside of school clean
    Garbage should be separated and disposed of in the designated areas. Also, always keep the classrooms you use tidy and clean.
  5. Avoid being late, absent, and talking privately
    Students must be present at all times, actively participate in class, create an environment where all students can concentrate, and avoid causing trouble to others.
  6. Be punctual and meet submission deadlines
    Be sure to be five minutes early so that you are not late for appointments, be sure to meet the deadlines for assignments, submissions, and various application documents, and be proactive every day so that you can respond in advance.

2. School rules

  1. Rules regarding smoking

    • Smoking is strictly prohibited for those under 20 years of age.

    • The only place where smoking is allowed is the "smoking area" set up inside the school. All other areas inside the school and around the school (roads, residential areas, residential buildings, commercial/industrial areas, commercial facilities, public facilities, rivers, etc.) are "non-smoking areas."

  2. Rules regarding commuting to school

    • Students may only commute to school by walking, cycling, or using public transportation (train, bus, etc.). Only students who have registered to use bicycles will be allowed to commute to school by bicycle. Bicycle riders are also required to make every effort to wear a helmet.

  3. Other rules

    • If school facilities, equipment, or supplies are damaged intentionally or by negligence, please promptly report to the teacher in charge. If the item is intentionally damaged, appropriate measures will be ordered and the person will be required to pay for the damage.

    • As a general rule, students are prohibited from using elevators in school buildings.

    • Ball games and the use of skateboards, etc. are prohibited within the school grounds and on surrounding roads and facilities.

    • Encroachment into residential areas, residential buildings, parking lots, and other private property, as well as smoking, eating, and drinking are prohibited.

    • It is prohibited to spread out on the road and cause a nuisance or danger to others, as well as talking in a loud voice.

    • Riding a bicycle with two people, driving while operating an information terminal, and illegally parking bicycles in the neighborhood are prohibited.

    • Riding or using skateboards, etc. on campus or on public roads is prohibited.

    • It is prohibited to make noise in commercial facilities, have loud conversations, and act as a nuisance to other customers.

    • Prohibition of illegal activities related to prohibited drugs, alcohol, and other criminal activities.

    • Acts that violate one's duties as a student, such as submitting copies of submitted assignments, cheating during exams, etc.

    • Other acts that the school deems to be illegal or dangerous.

Students who violate the above rules will immediately submit a letter of termination and take disciplinary action in accordance with Article 19 of the University Regulations. Disciplinary measures include reprimand, suspension, and expulsion.

2. About commuting to school

・Purchase a school commuter pass
If you are using one of the following transportation facilities, you can bring your student ID card and purchase directly at the commuter pass office of the transportation facility. 3. About lost and found items

Be sure to take complete care of your belongings. The school assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen items. Found items, including valuables, must be delivered to the school office. Also, in case of loss, please contact the office immediately.

"About tuition fees"

1. About payment of tuition fees

Delivery period
Delivery will be made in two installments, in March and September.
(First-year students have already paid the first half of the tuition, so the second half will be paid in September.)

① If you fail to pay tuition fees without a valid reason, you will be expelled.
In the unlikely event that a reason arises for payment to be delayed, notify the school office immediately and follow the prescribed procedures.
② Tuition fees once paid will not be returned for any reason.
③ Tuition fees for students on leave of absence
If you apply and complete the procedure by September 18th, a fee of 50,000 yen will be collected as a half-term leave fee. If you apply and complete the procedures by the end of March, a full-term leave of absence fee of 100,000 yen will be collected.

・The teacher in charge will take attendance at the beginning of each class. Those who do not respond when attendance is taken will be considered absent. If you enter the room after confirming your attendance, you will not be treated as late and will be considered absent for that time.
・Attendance information is managed by the school's information system. Therefore, please check with the instructor in charge of the class to find out the attendance status for each subject by yourself.
・If you will be absent for 7 days or more due to treatment for illness, accident, etc., please submit a doctor's certificate.

2.About authorized absence

・If your absence is due to any of the following reasons, it will not be treated as an absence if you take the necessary procedures.

3. About classes when a warning is issued or transportation is unavailable due to worsening weather conditions

・If a "storm warning" is in effect in Osaka Prefecture, take the following measures.

Also in effect after 10 a.m. -----------------------Temporary school closure
If the order is issued after the school has arrived, the principal will take appropriate measures.
・Due to differences in the issuance and cancellation of warnings in the area where you live, major disruptions to transportation, tardiness or absences due to disasters, etc. will not be considered absent.
・If a "special warning" is issued, take appropriate actions such as immediately following the evacuation information issued by the municipality.
・JR, any of the five major private railways in Osaka (Hankyu, Hanshin, Kintetsu, Nankai, Keihan), subway, Kita-Osaka Express, etc. are out of service.
In this case, take the following measures.

1.About the Purchasing Department

2. Regarding use of the locker room

As the classrooms are moved for each subject, teaching materials cannot be left in the classroom. Those who need it should complete the application procedure before using the lockers. Locker rooms are located on the 2nd floor of the main building and the 3rd and 4th floors of the south building.

※Notes
・Lockers are padlock-type lockers in both the main building and south building.
・It is not possible to specify the main building or south building. Locker locations will be determined by lottery from applicants.
・The loan deadline is as follows.
Graduation grades (SD4, C3, B2, BM3, ST2) are on the day of the graduation ceremony.
For promotion grades (SD3, SD2, SD1, C2, C1, B1, BM2, BM1, ST1), apply on the day of the closing ceremony in March of the following year.
・If the locker is used after the above loan period, the school will dispose of the items inside without obtaining permission from all locker users.
・The school may open lockers for inspection, etc. without obtaining permission from the user.
・The school is not responsible for any theft or damage to lockers or locker rooms. Manage at your own risk

3.About the health room

・If you wish to use the health room, please notify the office.
・If you use it, write the date and time and reason for use in your notebook.
・If you have recovered and wish to leave the health room, please notify the office.

4.About student email and current student Classroom

・In principle, communications from the school will be made through the current student classroom and student email. Please check the contents daily
・Students themselves will be responsible for any disadvantages caused by not paying attention to current student Classroom and student emails.
・Use the personal email account information and password listed in the notification letter distributed at the time of admission to use Classroom and student email for current students. Student email can also be used on smartphones.
・Passwords can be changed by individuals within the university by following the prescribed steps. (See OIF official bookmark. Old password required)
- To request a password reissue in the event that an individual forgets their password or there is a problem with changing their password, please fill out and submit the "Password Reset Application Form" at the secretariat counter. In principle, you can receive your documents from the afternoon of the day following the submission date.

5.How to use the library

①About opening days and hours

・Excludes vacation periods, event days, holidays, and book inspection periods according to the school's annual calendar.
・If you are unable to use the service due to circumstances, please contact the current students in advance through the Classroom.
・If the person in charge is absent during opening hours, the facility will be temporarily unavailable. Users in the room must also leave the room immediately.

②About books
・Up to three books can be borrowed per person. Please present your student ID card to the reception desk and fill out the loan list. The loan period is one week. When returning books, please return them directly to the reception desk by 5:00 pm.

・If a book is damaged, lost, or destroyed, compensation will be provided in the form of the same book or cash. (Writing, folding pages, etc. are strictly prohibited)

③About fabric samples
・Fabric samples that can be borrowed can be borrowed for 2 days. Please present your student ID card to the reception desk and fill out the loan list. When returning fabric samples, please return them directly to the reception desk by 5:00 pm on the same day or the next day.
・If the fabric sample is damaged, lost, or lost, compensation will be provided in cash. (Writing, folding pages, etc. are strictly prohibited)

④ Points to note regarding the library in general
・Always keep the books and materials you read in order.
・Private conversation, eating, drinking, and cell phone use are prohibited in the library. If found, they will be ordered to leave.
- May be used as a classroom. In that case, it is not available.
・Scissors, cutters, and bags are prohibited from being brought into the library.(Only notebooks, digital cameras, and writing utensils may be brought in.)

6. Regarding use of copy machine

Copy machines are installed in the student hall and the South Library.
① There are four types of paper: A4, A3, B4, and B5.

7. Regarding computer use

・Computer class
Before using the computers installed at the school, log in using the personal account information listed on the account notification letter distributed at the time of enrollment.

In the school's main classrooms, computers and tablets with built-in wireless LAN functionality can be used to access the school LAN wirelessly.

・Use of database
You can use the library database compiled by the Bunka Publishing Bureau. For details, please refer to the notification sent to student email.

8. Regarding bulletin boards in the school

・Posters, flyers, etc. must not be displayed without the principal's approval.
