Learn the expressive power of knitting, which has infinite scope.

This course specializes in the design and technology of knit products, which are said to make up half of all apparel.
At our school, we have introduced WHOLEGARMENT computerized flat knitting machines, the latest equipment used by famous brands around the world, to create our products.

National Knit Award

We submitted the work we created as a group during our second-year knitting course class to the National Knitting Awards. In recognition of its original design and technology, it won the Beginner Award at the 11th National Knit Awards.

Collaboration with “Knu Smurf”
Responsible for VP of Hankyu Department Store Umeda Main Store

Hankyu Department Store Umeda Main Store is holding a sales floor editorial focused on knitwear for Generation Z. Our students collaborated with Knuth Murf and were in charge of the 3rd floor main VP.

Collaboration with "Senshu Knit"

As a project to revitalize the knitwear industry, we collaborated with Senshu Knit. We proposed sustainable products by utilizing surplus yarn within companies, and not only developed them through pattern creation and sewing, but also planned PR to lead to sales.

Knit products that can be made into any shape from a single thread. It is said that it now accounts for half of all apparel products. At our school, we have introduced WHOLEGARMENT computerized flat knitting machines, the latest equipment used by famous brands around the world, and we use them in our daily classes. Use knit and fabric to give shape to the image you want to express.

Main subjects

Knit modeling Ⅰ

Students will use crochet hooks and needles to create knitted fabrics and understand the characteristics of knits. Learn the basic knowledge of knitting by creating knitted products based on hand-knitting.

Knit modeling Ⅱ

We use WHOLEGARMENT computerized flat knitting machines to perform everything from design to production of knitted products. Learn techniques to freely design patterns and colors and convert them into knitted fabric data.
