Major from 2nd year

Fashion Creator

Pattern maker & 3D modeling course

PATTERN & 3D MODELING

With both analog and digital skills,
We transform our image into a beautiful and comfortable shape.

Students aim to become pattern makers who can freely reproduce designs and silhouettes. In addition to acquiring sophisticated techniques for flat drafting and three-dimensional cutting, students will also learn how to operate the 3D CAD software "CLO," which allows students to assemble patterns three-dimensionally on a PC.

Mastering apparel CAD

This is a system that allows pattern makers to virtually carry out their work, such as pattern making and grading (size development). Learning this system will also give you an advantage when looking for employment.

Mastering the 3D CAD software "CLO"

You will learn the techniques of using the latest 3D modeling software to turn 2D patterns into three-dimensional shapes on a PC.

Adaptive Fashion

We carefully listen to the concerns of people with disabilities and their caregivers, and remake their clothes to reflect their favorite colors, hobbies, ease of putting on and taking off, etc.

Pattern making skills certification level 1 passed

This exam assumes that the candidate has 5 to 6 years of work experience, which is considered difficult for current students to pass, and we have produced successful candidates for 15 consecutive years.

Passed the 3D modeler exam

Every year, we produce successful candidates for the 3D Modeler Examination, which requires the ability to create 3DCG data and express detail.

curriculum

The skills of pattern makers to turn ideas into reality
You will also learn 3DCG creation skills at the same time.

Through a wide range of practical training, you will acquire the ability to freely express various designs and silhouettes. You will acquire knowledge and skills that are useful in the field of famous brands and apparel companies. In addition, by learning 3D modeling techniques to create 3DCG on a PC that is comparable to the real thing, you will be able to more efficiently and with higher quality realize the image that the designer envisions.

special major

Main subjects

3D Modeler

Learn the technique of turning a pattern drawn in 2D CAD into a three-dimensional (3D) shape on a PC. High-precision 3DCG reproduces the actual product to the same level, leading to reduced production costs and time. It is the latest technology attracting attention in the industry.

CAD (Computer-Aided Design)

Students will learn how to use CAD to perform operations such as pattern making, grading, and marking. Mastering CAD is essential, and is a skill that will be immediately useful in the production field.
