There are many opportunities to improve your individual skills, such as studying abroad and undergoing training.
Additionally, a specialized section for job-hunting support, the Career Center, has been established to provide job-hunting guidance and information to students.
In cooperation with the faculty in charge, they will be responsible for all aspects of job hunting preparation, including counseling and mock interviews.
Furthermore, with a comprehensive support system in place, including on-campus company information sessions and internships, the school has a stable track record of finding employment every year.
Alumni who learned about OIF are still active in the fashion industry today as top runners.
In this era where new value creation is required, we support graduates who take on challenges in various fields.
There are also incubation programs to support independence and social media-type platforms in place.

In 2022, Rakuten will fully support the debut of graduate Tanaka Daisuke's brand "tanakadaisuke" at Tokyo Collection (Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO), one of the world's top five fashion weeks. After that, Rakuten will continue to provide various support, such as supporting exhibitions in Korea and Tokyo Collection runway shows. Tanaka will also give lectures for current students, and the real-life experiences of graduates who are active at the forefront of fashion are used to improve the quality of education. OSAKA INSTITUTE OF FASHION strives to develop and incubate human resources from a global perspective, with the slogan "Developing professionals who can be active around the world."

OBOG VOICE

I want to captivate viewers with my unique personality.

After graduating, I launched my personal brand ``tanakadaisuke'' and am working as a fashion designer and embroidery artist, creating costumes for artists and commercials.
The beauty of this job is that you can basically leave the ordering of costumes and items to me, so I can create everything to my satisfaction, from the materials to the design, sewing, and finishing. In 2022, we will present our collection on the Tokyo Collection runway, and in an environment where we can deliver clothes to a variety of people, which we could not have done with our previous activities, we will be able to send out small stories to the larger world. I feel a sense of fulfillment in what I do. It's a big burden because of the expectations, but it's a happy time.

OIF × tanakadaisuke's recent activities

We were invited to the fashion event "PTU Fashion Week" held in Seoul, Korea, where we held a special lecture by Daisuke Tanaka and our first exhibition in Korea.

At the talk show held as a special event for the Autumn Festival, he spoke about the appeal and expansion of fashion, and the rewards of working as a designer, based on his own experiences and perspectives.

He served as the head judge for the 12th annual "High School Student Design Drawing Contest." He judges the works based on his own knowledge and sensibilities, and is dedicated to producing the next generation of creators.
