1946年	Establishment of Mikuni Dressmaking Girls' Academy
1951年	Organization changed to educational corporation School name changed Osaka Fashion College for Women
1952年	Bunka Fashion College chain school approval School name changed to OSAKA INSTITUTE OF FASHION
1976年	Promoted to vocational school due to revision of the School Education Act
1984年	Introducing computers into classes
1986年	Fashion Business established Fashion show in Beijing, China
1987年	Fashion show in Xi'an, China Fully equipped with AV equipment
1988年	Fashion show in Paris, France Designated as a vocational education advanced development research school (Ministry of Education)
1989年	Apparel CAD system classes started Introduction of industrial knitting equipment Urban environment improvement greening contribution award (Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry)
1990年	Introduction of computer graphics Apparel CAD open course held
1992年	New York State Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) training [held every year thereafter]
1994年	New computer graphics specialty classroom established
1996年	Introducing new model of apparel CAD system
1998年	Invited to participate in Biennale della Moda in Florence, Italy
1999年	Introducing new model of total design system (CAD/CG integrated) SUMIRE Hall completed
2000年	Opened the first off-campus shop at HEP FIVE [Continued since then]
