1946年	Establishment of Mikuni Dressmaking Girls' Academy
1951年	Organization changed to educational corporation School name changed Osaka Fashion College for Women
1952年	Bunka Fashion College chain school approval School name changed to OSAKA INSTITUTE OF FASHION
1976年	Promoted to vocational school due to revision of the School Education Act
1986年	Fashion Business established Fashion show in Beijing, China
1987年	Fashion show in Xi'an, China Fully equipped with AV equipment
1988年	Fashion show in Paris, France Designated as a vocational education advanced development research school (Ministry of Education)
1989年	Apparel CAD system classes started Introduction of industrial knitting equipment
1992年	New York State Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) training [held every year thereafter]
1998年	Invited to participate in Biennale della Moda in Florence, Italy Collaboration with Polimoda School begins
1999年	SUMIRE Hall completed
2000年	Opened the first off-campus shop at HEP FIVE [Continued since then]
2001年	55th anniversary Italian joint fashion show Fashion show in Florence, Italy [Continued to be held thereafter] New school building west annex completed
2003年	Invited to participate in "CPF Fashion Show" (Japan-Italy-UK-US joint) sponsored by the Italian Trade Promotion Association
2004年	WHOLEGARMENT computerized flat knitting machine introduced

2014年	Seihei Ohashi wins the 88th Soen Award (Grand Prix)
2015年	Stylist established Member of the International Federation of Fashion Institutes of Technology (IFFTI) (associate member)
2017年	New school building south building completed
2018年	Polimoda School Exchange 20th Anniversary Fashion Show Started participating in GRADUATE FASHION WEEK
2019年	Apparel CAD 3D modeling system introduced Participated in a project for the Balenciaga Museum in Spain
2021年	3D modelist course established
2022年	Alumni exchange site “OIFer LINK” launched Started participating in FASHION GRADUATE ITALIA organized by Milan, Italy
2023年	South Korea's Pyeongtaek University signs MOU with Seoul Fashion Hub
