Design and Brand Planning: Akira Sueyama

Currently Creative Director and Head of the Academic Affairs Department OSAKA INSTITUTE OF FASHION. Graduated from this college. Studied abroad at the POLIMODA in Italy after joining the faculty. Graduated top of her class in the Masters Course in Collection Design under Professor Linda Loppa, who is said to be the foster mother of the Antwerp Six, and returned to Japan with a master's degree. In 2008, she worked hard to establish Super Designer, and brought back what she learned abroad to education. She continues to teach as the department's head. She contributed to the establishment of a unique method that combines the strengths of this college, European "design ideas" skills, with the "technical skills" of patterns and sewing rooted in the "Bunkashiki" style. She also contributed to the unrivaled achievements of OSAKA INSTITUTE OF FASHION in recent years. The "Sugiyama Children" attracted attention from the industry and built the foundation for their success in various fields. In addition to her teaching position, she is also active as a knit artist herself.
