The final judging for the ``Tayama Junro Award High School Student Fashion Design Drawing Contest 2021'' sponsored by OSAKA INSTITUTE OF FASHION has ended. The awards were decided after a rigorous review by the head judge, Mr. Junro Tayama, the sponsoring companies, and our school's faculty and staff.

Out of a total of 582 entries, the Grand Prix winner of the Tayama Junro Award was Yomari Sato (a third-year high school student from Okayama Prefecture). In addition to a cash prize of 100,000 yen, Ms. Sato received the privilege of becoming a scholarship student OSAKA INSTITUTE OF FASHION A, and an additional prize from Junro Tayama.

Grand Prix: Junro Tayama Award: Yoshinori Sato (100,000 yen prize, A scholarship student rights, ATSURO TAYAMA products, certificate)

[General review of the 2021 contest by Junro Tayama, chief judge] This contest started in 2012. Now in its 10th edition, I feel that the level has improved compared to the past. This year, due to the spread of coronavirus infection, we have decided to postpone the award ceremony and announce the judging on our website.
