This course trains world-class top designers through our unique Plan Do education curriculum. In the second year you will challenge expressing your own brand in a collection. In the third year you will participate in "ROOMS", one of the largest trade shows in Japan, and also study in Italy as a short-term student. By participating in activities that are well beyond a students', you will become skillful enough to launch your own private brand upon graduation.

This course is for those who want to create and express themselves in the fashion world. Our unique Plan Do education curriculum will enhance your abilities to generate ideas, to plan and to design which are essential skills in garment making. In the first year, you will study basic knowledge and skills broadly in order to discover what you are interested in and are good at. In the second year, you will choose from the 'Creative Designer', 'Apparel Designer', 'Pattern Making', 'Knitwear', and 'Haute Couture' courses to further your preparation for the profession of your choice.
You will learn the process of generating ideas for designs and undergo elite training to improve garment construction skills such as pattern making and sewing with the aim to win prizes at highly competitive contests. You will learn how to develop highly original brands and acquire the ability to become a successful designer with a major firm. You will have an opportunity to introduce your private collection at a graduation exhibition.
You will learn methods to design clothes to be sold as products in order to become a successful designer for apparel companies. You will learn how to analyse marketing and current trends and to reflect the findings in your designs. Since many Japanese apparel companies follow the same procedure when designing their products, you will be well prepared to work as a professional upon graduation and thus have an edge in finding employment.
Through many hours of hands-on training, you will be able to freely express a wide range of designs and silhouettes from standard items to design conscious items. You will acquire knowledge and skills which will enable you to work competently at well-known brands and apparel companies. The goal is to become a pattern maker capable of enhancing a designer's image.
Since knitwear can be styled freely from a single yarn, they now account for nearly half of all apparel. The computerised WHOLEGARMENT knitting machine used by world famous brands is also used in our daily lessons. The image you want to express is given shape by using both knitted and woven fabrics.
Providing customers with garments of the highest quality requires great skill in designing, selecting the fabrics, and sewing. You will learn the techniques, fabrics, and decorations used to make haute couture garments. Skills acquired in this course will also be a great asset in the apparel industry which deals mainly in ready-to-wear clothes.

Learn in depth about developing and managing brand shops to become leaders and entrepreneurs in the fashion world.
You will select a course from the first year and learn through hands-on training how to develop a brand or store. Students in the "Producer Course" will develop original brands, formulate plans to launch a brand and experience selling products for real. Students in the "Shop Development Course" will accumulate practical skills by opening shop in a downtown location and managing it over an extended period of time.
A long-term internship of three to four months at an apparel company and an internship in New York are mandatory for both courses.
You will learn comprehensively about brand concept, product planning and proposal of PR strategy based on the latest trends and market analysis, as well as about self-produced brand management. Through long-term internnship at an apparel company, you will also deepen your understanding of the trends of shops and customers.
You will learn comprehensively about proposal of shop concept, planning, merchandising, buying, shop display and marketing strategy. You will open and manage an actual shop at an off-campus fashion center as well as manage an online shop, and nurture practical skills which cannot be learned in the class room.

This department is for those who wish to sell, plan, or produce in the fashion world. Through our unique Plan Do education program, you will acquire communication skills and learn how to make proposals. Both are essential assets for working in fashion shops. In the first year, you will learn extensively about basic knowledge and skills to discover where your interests and strong points lie. In the second year, you will choose from "Shop Staff", "Buyer" and "Press & Influencer" courses to acquire specialised knowledge and skills in further preparation for the profession of your choice. This department is ideal for those who like to be surrounded by clothes and enjoy mixing with other people.
You will propose the best coordination for customers' outfits to highlight their charm using your communication skills, knowledge of products, and styling ability. The aim is to become a professional of customer-care and an expert on the scene. Being closest to the customers, shop staff play an important role in the apparel industry since they can provide feedback to the planning division about customers' opinions. This course is ideal for those who love clothes, are sensitive to the latest mode, and enjoy chatting with others about fashion.
The ability of the buyer determins whether a shop can offer an attractive selection of products based on shop concept and seasonal themes which sets it apart from other shops. The buyer reads trends, researches, and sometimes attends fashion shows overseas to check out new brands. The buyer plays an important role since his or her competence can directly affect a shop's image and sales.
The job of attache de press is to use the mass media such as magazines and television to improve a brand's image. You will acquire presentation skills which will enable you to convey a brand's concept and image in the most appropriate manner. You will also acquire the ability to plan and produce which will enable you to utilise other media such as the SNS and free papers in a timely fashion.

Under total supervision of top stylist, become a successful stylist active at the forefront of the fashion world.
This course trains stylists who thrive on television, in magazines, commercials and shows. Following the curriculum developed under supervision of top stylist BUN, you will in your first year learn basic knowledge and skills required to become a stylist, and also experience hands-on training such as gravure photo session and internship. In the second year, you will introduce your styling in a collection and improve your practical skills even more. You can also choose to continue studies in the Stylist Master Department.
The goal is for students to be able to decide on a style and plan total styling from hairdo and makeup, shoes, to accessories. You will learn a widespread knowledge of fashion, experience gravure photo session with professional photographers and models, and spend many hours training in fashion shows. At the time of graduation, you will introduce your own styling in a collection.
In this course, you can accumulate plenty of hands-on experience to be fully prepared to work as a professional upon graduation. You will make proposals on styling, lease garments and accessories, dress models, and check the photo shootings and finish. By repeating hands-on training following the same cycle as professionals, you will become an expert of operations on the scene as well as establish your own unique signature style. In the second year, you will work as an intern for a professional stylist and refine your practical skills while building up your network of contacts.
